Phumula Kruger Lodge in Marloth Park is perfectly situated for travelers to explore the Southern Kruger Park Region -- where a host of tourist attractions and interesting adventure activities awaits you…
That said; many of our guests simply relax by the pool, enjoying the peace and tranquility of the African bush while soaking up some sun. You may even be honored with a visit from our resident animals such as: kudu, impala, wildebeest, zebra, giraffe and warthog which meander around the lodge and pool area.
Activities within Marloth include: bird watching, walking, game drives, etc. You can also view game from Marloth's lookout area which has panoramic views over the Crocodile River and into the Kruger Park. |

 |
Although Marloth has no resident Elephants, they can often be viewed while bathing in the Crocodile River. Various predators like lion and leopard can be seen from time to time
Activities outside yet nearby Marloth include: self-guided game drives into the Kruger Park, professionally guided Kruger Park Safaris in luxury tour busses or open safari vehicles, morning walks and night drives in the Kruger Park, a round of golf at the Leopard Creek Golf Course, etc.
Nearby activities for the more adventurous include: Elephant Back Safaris, Micolight Flights, Tiger Fishing Safaris, quad biking, white water tubing and bridge swinging and abseiling.
Further away yet close enough for a full-day excursion are the panorama regions of South Africa's Mpumalanga Province which abound with many more interesting attractions & activities -- from magnificent waterfalls, the world renowned Blyde River Canyon, the enchanting God's Window viewpoint, to wildlife rehabilitation centers such as Chimpanzee Eden & Moholoholo or Kapama Cheetah project
Phumula Kruger Lodge can book any of these activities for you. We also have our own qualified guide with an open vehicle for best quality safari drives. Here is what we can offer you and your family or friends…

A TYPICAL DAY ON SAFARI
We leave the lodge very early in the morning, the gates opens at sunrise. This is the best time to see game, seeing that everything is still very fresh and the animals move around much more. Soon after entering the park you see exactly why Kruger is a world heritage site, as wildlife awaits you around every corner. Enjoy some warm coffee and rusks on the way, to keep away the worst hunger pains.. |
At nine stretch the legs, and enjoy a cooked breakfast a short while later, overlooking a magnificent waterhole. Continue trough the day and leave the gates, after a satisfying day in Africa.
Mozambique & Swaziland Trips
Apart from the easy access to the Kruger National Park, Phumula Kruger Lodge is also ideally situated for day trips to Mozambique and Swaziland.
Maputo the Mozambique capital is also a wonderful experience. Visit the various craft markets and tour the city with its wonderful architecture and history. A trip to Maputo would not be complete without enjoying the finest of Portuguese cuisine that specializes in some of the freshest seafood and traditional fair on the Costa Dol Sol beachfront.
Swaziland is also just an hour away and this day trip offers a different experience but equally enjoyable. Visit traditional cultural villages, bushman paintings, art and craft centers, and view the beauty of one of Africa's last remaining Kingdoms
